Here’s a clever concept developed in China. Instead of having buses on the road, this bus is like an overground vehicle that cars can drive under. I think it’s clever but I don’t know if it’s safe. The straddling bus has a higher center of gravity and it’ll need to have better maneuverability. Plus, what happens when there’s an accident? I wouldn’t want to jump down onto moving cars. What are your thoughts?

The PiCycle is a hybrid bicycle where your pedaling efforts charge a battery that allows you to use it as an electric scooter. It’s not a groundbreaking concept and I’m not sure you generate enough power to go on a long trip in scooter-mode, but it’s still a cool design. What do you think?

The Rolling Stone is an electric vehicle designed by Vitaly Kononov. It’s a one-person vehicle with LED screens on the side. I don’t see massive potential for this type of individual transport, but it would be an upgrade as a vehicle for the disabled. Plus, the screens offer interesting marketing opportunities.
